This policy explains what data we collect, why, how long we keep it and what your rights are, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act (loi Informatique et Libertés).

• Identity and contact details: surname, first name, email address, phone number.
• Booking: date, time, package, number of guests, extras, any message, people present during the visit.
• Payment and deposit: amounts, status of payments and of the card pre-authorisation. Card details are entered and processed exclusively by Stripe: we never have access to them.
• Gift cards: the buyer’s contact details, the recipient’s name and, if you provide it, their email address for delivery, as well as the personal message.
• Correspondence: emails and messages you send us.
• Browsing: IP address, type of device and browser, pages viewed, according to your cookie choices.

• Performance of the contract: managing your booking, your payments and your deposit, and sending you the emails related to your visit (confirmation, visit guide, reminders).
• Performance of the contract: issuing and sending gift cards.
• Legitimate interest: thanking you after your visit and inviting you to leave a review. You can object at any time, simply by replying to the email.
• Legitimate interest (customers): sending you our news and offers about services similar to those you have enjoyed (sessions, overnight stays, gift cards). You can object at any time, free of charge, via the unsubscribe link in every email or simply on request.
• Consent: sending you the same news if you are not yet a customer and have ticked the box provided for this purpose.
• Legitimate interest: when an online booking is started but not completed, keeping your contact details so that we can get back to you about this request.
• Legal obligation: invoicing and accounting.
• Consent: audience measurement and advertising (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta).
• Legitimate interest: website security and fraud prevention.

Your data is intended for the Cocooning Spa team. It is never sold. Where relevant, it is shared with our service providers:

• OVH SAS (France): website hosting and email.
• Stripe Payments Europe (Ireland): payments and deposit card pre-authorisation.
• Brevo – Sendinblue SAS (France): sending our news by email.
• Google (Analytics, Ads) and Meta Platforms (Pixel, purchase measurement): only with your consent.
• Competent authorities: upon legal request.

Google, Meta and Stripe may process certain data in the United States. These transfers are governed by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and, where applicable, by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

• Bookings and customer records: 3 years after your last visit.
• Invoices and accounting records: 10 years (legal obligation).
• Gift cards: during their validity, then 3 years after expiry.
• Audience measurement: 13 months maximum.
• Correspondence and contact requests: 3 years after the last exchange.
• News by email: until you unsubscribe, and no later than 3 years after your last visit or last contact.
• Incomplete online bookings: 30 days.

• Essential cookies: necessary for the website to work (session, security, remembering your choice). They do not require your consent.
• Audience measurement: Google Analytics 4, with Google Consent Mode (v2).
• Advertising and conversions: Google Ads, Meta Pixel and Facebook widget.

These cookies are only activated after you give your consent in the banner. You can change your choice at any time using the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of the page.

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time and to set out instructions regarding your data after your death.

The website is fully encrypted (HTTPS). Access to data is restricted to the Cocooning Spa team. Payments are processed by Stripe, certified PCI DSS at the highest level.

Our establishment is for adults only: our services are not intended for persons under 18.
